Bona Sera Supper Club

Hello all from Venice! Internet access here is spotty at best and there are no camera card readers at access points so it may be a couple more days before I can post images from here, but they are coming!

Proscuitto pizza, Rialto, Venice. Similar to the porchetta pose, but should only be read as "bliss".

Off to the Rialto market and Pescheria today as well as the Piazza San Marco. So far, Venice has had the best espresso, dogs and sailors we have seen. Tonight I will be making a fruiti de mare with whatever is fresh at the fish market and we will be buying fruit galore…the fruit is amazing here. We had a nectarine in Rome that was better than the best peach you can imagine…

More later…especially about the Arizona man on the high speed train from Rome to Venice who loudly compared Venice to Macinac Island (dude….).

Also, on the way here to type this, I was forced to step inside a small church because there was a collection of strings players practicing Vivaldi…yeah, sorry.
